Well I don't know who reads this much, but I am looking at buying a digital SLR.... I have decided to go Nikon. I was going to buy a D80, but a friend offered to sell me his D200. I imagine it will probably cost me about 2-300 dollars more for the D200. What do you think, is it worth the extra cost? Clearly I'm just an amateur, but I would really like to get into photography, and I want to start with the best bang for my buck in terms of equipment. Thoughts?

thnx a lot! I use canon eos 300 analog, and 400d sometimes, most of the photos were taken with eos 300a with 50mm f1.8

Oh I love them: I listen to Boards of Canada before I go to sleep or when I am doing artwork sometimes. Have you heard of Caribou? They are Canadian too, I think you might like them.
